Material examined. Northern Territory. 1 male, Blackmore R ., 17 Mar 2015, P. Dostine; 3 males, Daly R ., near Mentabie Stn , 14 Jun 2018, P. Dostine (all FFD) .
Remarks. Ecnomus kitabal was previously recorded from northern NSW, eastern Queensland, and one locality in northern WA, but until now without records from the NT ( Cartwright 1990). The species is newly recorded from the NT with the addition of four males collected from two sites.
