Ecnomus sp. (Intersex specimen)
Figures 18, 19 View FIGURES 18–19
Material examined. 1 male /female specimen, Northern Territory, Graveside Gorge , 11–12 Jul 2015, P. Dostine ( FFD) .
Remarks. This specimen appears to have female genitalia with both ventral plates, but with one male superior appendage ( Figs 18, 19 View FIGURES 18–19 ). Gyandromorph and intersex caddisfly specimens have been reported in the literature ( Malicky 2014) but this is probably the first recorded example for Australia and the genus Ecnomus .
