R e m a r k s: although many species in the orders of Coleoptera , Lepidoptera, Diptera and Hymenoptera were listed by ( THOMPSON 1957) as hosts of I. alternans two specimens reared from Archips rosana L ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ) feeding on Betula pendula Roth. in the University field and it is a new host for I. alternans .
