Thyatira apicalis Leech, 1900: 11 View in CoL . Type-locality: China: Sichuan, Ni-tou. Holotype ♀ (BMNH).
Distribution. China (Gansu, Ningxia, Hubei, Sichuan).
Remarks. Zhao (2004) recorded Shaanxi as part of the range area of this species, but without a specimen record. We have not so far found any material from Shaanxi. It is quite possible that this species will be found in this province because we have tens of specimens from Gansu, Ningxia and Hubei, which are all around Shaanxi. However, we have omitted Shaanxi from the range area for the moment.
