- Berosus (Berosus) fuscostriatus Fairmaire, 1892 View in CoL
Hebauer (1997) reported the occurrence of B. fuscostriatus in Egypt. We have not been able to verify the literature records of this species from Egypt. In northern Africa, the species is known only from Algeria ( Hebauer 2006; Fikáček et al. 2015; Przewoźny and Fikáček 2016).
- Berosus (Berosus) neumanni Knisch, 1922
The distribution of B. neumanni was reported in Egypt by many authors ( Knisch (1924a; Alfieri; 1976; Hebauer 1995; Salman 1996). According to Hebauer (2006), B. neumanni is an Afrotropical species known from Cameroon, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Zimbabwe. Its presence in Egypt is doubtful and needs confirmation.
