Distribution in North Carolina: No specific record, but very likely to occur in the Appalachian Mountains county of SW based on Cole (1940) record.

Distribution in surrounding states: Reported by Cole (1940) from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park just at the border of North Carolina and TN at the location known as Indian Gap.
