Figures 8 View FIGURE 8 , 9 View FIGURE 9
Teminius monticolus Bryant, 1948: 411 , fig. 94 (female holotype from Loma Rucilla, Armando Bermúdez National Park , Santiago Province, ~ 1500–2450 m, June, 1938, P. Darlington, deposited in MCZ, examined).
Teminius monticola: Roewer, 1955: 407 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. Females of S. monticola comb. n. resembles those of S. medialuna by having an atrial hood not projected ( Figs 5D View FIGURE 5 , 8D View FIGURE 8 ), but are readily recognized by having lower posterior plates and higher atrium ( Fig. 8D View FIGURE 8 ).
Description. Male unknown. Female described by Bryant (1948).
Remarks. Collection efforts at the type and nearby localities, looking for new specimens, were unsuccessful. Vegetation in the type locality comprises a mixture of broadleaf and pine forest.
Distribution. Know only from the type locality ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ).
