Diagnosis

Colony encrusting, consisting of uniserial chains of elongate oval autozooids, dividing irregularly and infrequently. Autozooid frontal shield umbonulomorph, with marginal pores only. Vertical walls enclosing small basal pore chambers. Primary orifice sinuate; oral spines present. Kenozooids present; avicularia absent. Ovicell hyperstomial, not closed by zooidal operculum; ectooecium membranous frontally. Ancestrula tatiform.
