Tretogonia Melichar 1926 View in CoL
Thirteen species of Tretogonia are known, of which five are recorded from Argentina ( Young 1968; Paradell et al. 2012; Dellapé & Paradell 2013).
Species of Tretogonia are drab, brown to fuscous and frequently pruinose. Young (1968) provides a key to identify the species, using characters of the male genitalia, including the shape of the pygofer and aedeagus processes. Mejdalani (1998) provides a comprehensive study of the external morphology of T. cribata Melichar , which includes a detailed description of the female terminalia.
