Type species: Kerriona luederwaldti Michaelsen, 1924

Diagnosis: Ocnerodrilidae with acanthodriline male terminalia, proandric, lacking gizzards, extramural calciferous glands paired in segment ix, setae at least partly widely paired.

The genus is endemic to Brazil, and includes nine taxa, counting the previously described species K. luederwaldti , K. lima Righi, 1980 and K. garbei Michaelsen, 1924 ( Christoffersen 2008) , and the six new species described herein, although several additional new species have been found recently (e.g., Ferreira et al. 2023), and will be described in the near future. Habitats, as far as is known, can be semi-aquatic, terrestrial or in bromeliad leaf axils, within the Atlantic Forest and Pampa bioregions of Brazil ( Ferreira et al. 2023; Gillanders et al. 2023).
