Genus Leucon Krøyer, 1846 View in CoL

Diagnosis. Pseudorostrum projecting anteriorly. Antenna 1 not geniculate or slightly arched between article 1 and 2. Male antenna 2 with row of setae on articles 4 and 5 outer margin, flagellum reaches end of pleon. Exopods on pereopods 1– 4 males, 1– 3 females. Pereopod 2 may lack ischium, if present, more than 4 times wider than long. Male with 2 pair of pleopods. Uropodal endopod 2-articulate (modified from Watling 1991).
