Material. Israel: 1♂ Park Rosh Ha'Ayin [32°05'N 34°57'E], 16.iv.1993, A. Freidberg & F. Kaplan; 1♂ Hazeva Field School [30°43'N 35°15'E], 23.xii.1997, A. Maklakov, Malaise trap.

Remarks. The specimens on hand possess the anterior row of bristles on the frons and complete hair palisade on the hind tibia; this along with the costal index just over 0.4 permits their assignment to the type species of the genus. The dark brown colour of the antennae in one male is hereby referred to variation.
