MATERIAL: 1 Ƌ, 6 ♀, Italy, Aosta Valley, Velde, Gressoney, Fontainemore , 1500 m a.s.l., litter under Alnus viridis , X.1980, leg. A. Focarile [10].

RANGE: European.

Canariphantes homonymus (Denis, 1934) Figs 22-26 MATERIAL: 1 Ƌ, Greece, Euboea, Prokopion, 6.VIII.1979, leg. B. Hauser.

REMARKS: This species was hitherto known from the West Mediterranean: Portugal, France Morocco and Algeria ( Bosmans & Bouragba, 1992); it is here reported for the first time for the Greek fauna.

RANGE: Mediterranean.
