Female (n = 3). Dimensions: length of idiosoma 217 208 (200–217) and width 135 124 (110–135).
Dorsum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A)— Prodorsum recurved, 13 pairs of serrated dorsal setae, trichobothrium filiform, serrated. Three pairs of slit-like pores or cupules. Setal measurements as follows: ro 10 8 (7–10), la 8 7 (7–8), bo 22 24 (22–26), ex 12 11 (11–12), c1 8 8 (8–9), c 2 15 14(12–15), d1 8 8, e 1 11 11 (10–11), f1 1 3 12 (12–13), f 2 24 22 (20–24), h 1 21 21 (21–22), h 2 27 27 (25–28), ps 1 19 19 (18–20) terminally. Body covered with striations.
Venter ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B)—Anogenital area with four pairs of genital, five pairs of aggenital and ps 2 in anal region 14 15 (14–15). Epimeral formula: 3-1-3-3.
Gnathosoma ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C)—Setal pattern of palp (tarsus –genu): 6-2-2, tarsus with
seta p' ζ trifurcate, d serrated. Cheliceral stilettos length 8 9 (8–10); length of palp 50 48 (45–50).
Legs —Length of legs I–IV as follows: leg I 113 111 (109–113), leg II 83 81 (79–83), leg III 83 79 (76–83) and leg IV 98 96 (95–98). All legs with two claws and a hairy empodium. Solenidion (ωI) on tarsus I very short, stout, shorter than half width of tarsus ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Tarsus I with ft' subequal with ft''. Femur IV divided ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 E). Leg setal formulae as follows (tarsus–trochanter): Leg I: 10 (1ω)-5-3-5-1; Leg II: 6-2-2-4-1; Leg III: 5-1-2-1-1; Leg IV: 5-2- 2-1+2-0.
Male: Not found.
Material examined. Brazil: One female collected from Bordeaux variety ( Vitis labrusca ), Boqueirão do Leão County, State of Rio Grande do Sul, 19/III/2006, coll. Silva, J.F. Two females collected from Dois Lajeados County, Bordeaux variety, with same data. Deposited at Museu de Ciências Naturais, UNIVATES - Centro Universitário, Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil.
Distribution. This is the first record of this species from Brazil. André (1980) reported this species from vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon variety from California, USA.
