Holotype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-661: ♀ “ Ideobisium baloghi n. sp. ♀, Holotype, dét. V. Mahnert, 3.1977”, “Congo-Brazzaville [ Republic of the Congo], Meya, Kindamba; [leg.] J. Balogh, A. Zicsi 15.XI.1963, No.202” [ Bangu Forest , Berlese-sample from humus].
Paratype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-662: 1 tritonymph “ Ideobisium baloghi n. sp. 1T, Paratype, dét. V. Mahnert, 3.1977”, “Congo-Brazzaville [ Republic of the Congo], Meya, Kindamba; [leg.] J. Balogh, A. Zicsi 15.XI.1963, No.202” [ Bangu Forest , Berlese-sample from humus] .
Current status. Valid, as Ideoblothrus baloghi (Mahnert, 1978) ( Muchmore 1982) .
Remark. Further paratypes were deposited in NHMG.
