Paratypes. HNHM Pseud.-839: 1 ♂ “ Tyrannochthonius mahunkai n. sp. ♂, Paratypus, dét. V. Mahnert, 7.1977”, “Congo-Brazzaville [ Republic of the Congo], Sibiti, [leg.] Balogh-Zicsi, 1.XII.1963; No. 316” [ IRHO rainforest, leaf litter] . HNHM Pseudoscorp-837: 1♂, 2♀, 2 tritonymphs “ Tyrannochthonius mahunkai n. sp. 1 ♂, 2 ♀, 2 T, Paratypen, dét. V. Mahnert, 7.1978”, “Congo-Brazzaville [ Republic of the Congo], Sibiti, [leg.] Balogh- Zicsi, 1.XII.1963; No. 317” [ IRHO rainforest, pitfall-trap] .

Current status. Valid, as Tyrannochthonius mahunkai Mahnert, 1978 .

Remark. Further paratypes were deposited in NHMG.
