Holotype. HNHM Pseudoscorp-318: ♀ “ Diplothrixochernes simplex n. sp. det. Beier ♀, Type, no. 524” [ Argentina, Rio Negro, El Bolsón, Mt. Piltriquitron , 1100 m, under bark in a Maytenus forest, 22.VIII.1961, leg. Gy. Topál, Nr. 524].
Current status. Valid, as Diplothrixochernes simplex Beier, 1964 .
