Distribution. Brazil, Peru.
Remarks. This species was described as “ Metilia vulgaris ” by Maldaner (2014) in her yet unpublished thesis dealing with a revision of the genus. As pointed out by Rivera & Vergara-Cobián (2017), Metilia vulgaris is a nomen nudum and thus unavailable.
