Distribution. Bolivia, Brazil, French Guiana, Peru, Venezuela.

Remarks. Specimens from Panguana exhibit two different morphs with regard to afa ( Fig. 12a, b ), while external and other genital characters are rather similar across specimens. This is in line with the considerable variability reported for the apophysis of this species by La Greca & Lombardo (1990). Only a revision of the genus will show whether Mantoida brunneriana as currently understood consists of more than one taxon. New for Peru.
