Holotype: BPBM 32336, 38.2 mm SL, mature female.

Type locality: Indonesia, Banda Sea, Lucipara Islands, Penyu Group, Kadola Island, east side (5°22’ S, 127°46’ E), depth 40 meters. Illustrations: Kuiter, 2004:88; Randall & McCosker, 1992, pl. 1B, p. 11 (fig. 3).

Distribution: Banda Sea, Indonesia, and Timor Leste (based on a photograph by G.R. Allen).
