Material. Topotype: 1♂ ( CML): “ Marokko: Lake Sidi-Au [in fact Sidi Ali] 2.IV.1993 leg. P. Pucholt ”, “Catomus spec. det. M. Lillig, 2005”, “coll. Lillig ex coll. M. Langer ” .

Distribution. The species is known only by the type series from Middle Atlas, Morocco ( Antoine 1949). The type locality is Sidi-Ali Lake.
