Type material. Holotype ♀ (HBUARA#2023-109) from CHINA: Hainan Province, Wuzhishan County, Shuiman Town, Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve (18.90260708°N, 109.68967795°E, 856 m), 27.V.2023, leg. W. Wang. GoogleMaps
Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The female of this new species resembles E. breviducta sp. nov., by having short, J-shaped copulatory ducts, but can be distinguished by the dorsally curved middle copulatory ducts (vs curved anteriorly in E. breviducta sp. nov.) (cf. Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 with Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ).
Description. Female (Holotype) ( Fig. 3A–B View FIGURE 3 ). TL 5.88; CL 2.41, CW 2.04; AL 3.47, AW 2.84. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.14, ALE 0.08, PME 0.09, PLE 0.08; AME–AME 0.26, AME–ALE 0.14, ALE–ALE 0.51, PME–PME 0.29, PME–PLE 0.17, PLE–PLE 0.60, ALE–PLE 0.13; MOA 0.22 long, anterior width 0.46, posterior width 0.61. Clypeal height 0.18. LL 0.15, LW 0.29. SL 1.26, SW 1.20. Measurements of legs: I 7.16 (2.19, 0.73, 1.79, 1.62, 0.83), II 6.92 (2.13, 0.69, 1.66, 1.65, 0.79), III 6.66 (1.84, 0.71, 1.54, 1.80, 0.77), IV 8.45 (2.39, 0.60, 2.08, 2.54, 0.84). Carapace yellowish, surface with radial mark and connecting eye field. Endites yellowish, with curved setae. Labium yellowish; sternum yellowish; legs yellowish. Abdomen oval, without sigilla, ventrally with longitudinal brown band. Dorsal scutum small, unconspicuous.
Epigyne as in Fig. 3C–D View FIGURE 3 . Copulatory openings with arc-shaped edges ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ). Copulatory ducts transverse, Jshaped, anterior of copulatory ducts initially straight, extended toward each other, then curved dorsally and ventrally ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ). ST II kidney-shaped; ST I spherical, separated; middle spermathecae with wrinkles ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ).
