Macroeme vittipennis (Melzer, 1934)

Material examined (2 specimens). French Guiana, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni (route de Saint-Jean, pk 7.5, light trap), female, 30.XI.1994, Thibaut Rosant leg. ( TRC) ; Sinnamary , (Savane-roche de la Haute-Koursibo, light trap), male, 27.X.2013, SEAG leg. ( PHDC). New country record .

Remarks. This species has been heretofore recorded from Brazil: Amazonas, Pará, Mato Grosso and Amapá. We illustrate the male ( Fig. 9 ), showing a clear thoracic sexual dimorphism.
