Range: eastern North America south to Florida, west to Michigan and Missouri. Habitat: collected from chestnut, sassafras, in branches of red bay, under bark of beech, possibly from oak. Collection Method: at lights, emergence. Biology: unknown other than host plants. Present Study: significantly higher abundance in secondary forest. References: Blatchley and Leng 1916 ; Whitehead 1979; Downie and Arnett 1996; Peck and Thomas 1998; Anderson 2002; Ciegler 2010.
