Literature distribution. Coquimbo: 1♂, 5 miles N of Laguna Dam , 2438 m., 06.xii.1950, Leg. R. & M. Bacher ( CAS; Mengual et al. 2018a); Ñuble : 1♂, Las Trancas , 13.XII.1993, Leg. Ugarte ( CFK) ; 1♂, Termas de Chillán , 10.XII.1951, Leg. L. E. Peña ( CNC) .

World distribution. Argentina and Chile.
Chilean distribution. From Coquimbo to Ñuble region ( Fig. 175 View FIGURE 175 ) .
Altitudinal range. From precordillera to highland ecosystems (1,517–2,438 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown in Chile. Recent records have been reported by citizen scientists in the Magallanes region.
Conservation status. EN under B1ab (iii) + B2ab (iii) using EOO = 4,084 km 2, AOO = 12 km 2 and three localities (or subpopulations)
