Remark. Kazantsev (1993) mentioned the nominotypic M. testaceicollis testaceicollis and synonymized M. testaceicollic

differens to the nominotypic subspecies, but omitted M. testaceicollis notaticollis from his work. We have studied speci-

mens from the MHNP compared with the type by Kazantsev and identified as " M. notaticollis " (the type cannot be found

in the collection of the museum). We confirmed that the M. notaticollis is a valid species and as we have not found any

information about the status of this name in the literature, we elevate the subspecies M. testaceicollis notaticollis to the

species level status here.
