Macrolycus yunnanus Kazantsev, 2001
Macrolycus yunnanus Kazantsev, 2001: 100 .
Material examined. China, 1 male, Yunnan, Jizushan, 25.58N 100.21E, 2500–2700 m, 6.–10. vii. 1994, Vit Kuban ( LMBC); 1 male, Yunnan, Jizushan, 2800 m, 30. v.–3. vi. 1993, Bolm ( SYSM).
Distribution. China (Yunnan, Sichuan).
Remark: These two specimens differ from M. oreophilus mentioned above by the relatively shorter antennal lamellae. According to Kazantsev’s description, M. yunnanus differs from M. oreophilus by the coloration, the shape of antennomeres and presence of secondary costae, but no obvious difference can be found in aedeagus, only ventral cavity is slightly different. Additionally, both species were recorded in nearby locations. As the coloration, the presence of the secondary costae and the shape of the ventral cavity of the median lobe are unreliable characters when defining species, further study will be necessary to confirm the validity of both species.
