Lectotype (designated by Raven 1964):— RUSSIA. “Siberia, ļ” (possibly Kamchatka), Herb. Linn. No. 486.2 ( LINN digital image) .
Distribution: —M Yarlung Zangbo, S Hengduan, N Hengduan, Tangut, L Yarlung Zangbo.
Note: —This species has both tetraploid (n = 36) and diploid (n = 18) individuals, but there are no morphological differences between them ( Chen et al. 1992).
