Type:— CHINA. Sichuan: Mt. Omei, on the way from Jiulaodong to Caipengzi , elev. ca. 2000 m, in rocky places, expedition sponsored by W. P. Fang, 11 May 1952, Hsiung, Chang & Tsiang 30490 (holotype PE00025699 !) .
Distribution: —S Hengduan.
Note: —This species is endemic to South-West China. It grows in specialized habitats at the base of rock walls ( Chen et al. 1992).
