Lectotype (designated by Dietrich et al. 1997):— BRAZIL. Rio de Janeiro: Tijuca, 1868, Glaziou 2568 ( P00723497 digital image, isolectotypes BR0000008698513 digital image, R000010173 digital image).

Distribution: —C Nepal, E Nepal, Yarlung Zangbo-Brahmaputra.

Note: —In the protologue of Oenothera glazioviana, Micheli (1875) cited one gathering (Glaziou 2568), which contains multiple sheets deposited at P, G, BR, R, and FI. Dietrich et al. (1997) referred to one sheet in P (P00723497) as the “ holotype ”, and the other duplicates in BR, FI, and G as the “isotype”. This can be considered as inadvertent lectotypification under Art. 7.11 and 9.10 of the ICN ( Turland et al. 2018).
