Material examined. BOTSWANA: Kasane: Chobe Safari Park, banks of Chobe, 17O48’S 25O8’E, M Uhlig, 12– 13. iii.1993, 10 ( ZMHB).
Discussion. Previously only recorded from the Congo catchment and the single type locality in Sierra Leone, this new material of A. lomaensis from Botswana represents a considerable southward extension of its known distributional range. As with A. salifi , there is some variation in the form of the aedeagus and other features between different populations, which may represent a complex of species.
