Type material. HOLOTYPE: CHINA: ♁: ‘China: Xizang A.R., Jiacha County, Cuijiugou , 29.250200°N 92.699630°E, 20.viii.2010, alt. 3,800 m., Ye LIU leg.’; deposit in the Insect Collection of Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai, China ( SNUC) GoogleMaps . Description. Male. Body stout and flattened; Body length 2.40–2.56 mm. Head slightly wider than long, length 0.38–0.39 mm, width 0.42–0.43 mm; clypeus short, hardly visible in dorsal view; frons shallowly impressed at middle; antennal tubercles slightly prominent; eyes located near midpoint of head, slightly prominent and each composed of about 35 ommatidia; postocular margins gradually narrowed to head base. Antenna with antennomere 1 longer than wide, slightly longer than 2, 2 and 3 of similar shape, but successively smaller, 3–7 about subequal in width, successively more transverse, 8 wider than 7, 8–10 strongly transverse, successively larger, 11 largest, ovoid, narrowing apically. Pronotum about as long as wide, length 0.47–0.54 mm, width 0.49–0.50 mm, widest slightly anterior middle, narrowing from widest point to base. Elytra together wider than long, length 0.64–0.66 mm, width 0.85–0.87 mm, narrowing from widest point toward base. Legs elongate. Abdomen longer than wide, length 0.91–0.97 mm, width 0.82–0.83 mm; tergite VIII roundly triangular, tergite IX composed of paired triangular sclerites; sternite VIII greatly transverse, broadly emarginate at posterior margin, sternite IX oval. Aedeagus with stout median lobe, ventral lobe very elongate and curved in apical portion, apex broadened, with two preapical setae.
Female. Similar to male in size; body length 2.45–2.56 mm, length/width of head 0.38–0.39 mm / 0.42–0.43 mm, pronotum 0.52–0.53 mm / 0.49–0.52 mm, elytra 0.64–0.66 mm / 0.83–0.88 mm, abdomen 0.91–0.98 mm / 0.84–0.88 mm. Eyes smaller than those of male, each composed of about 30 ommatidia.
