1. Alienobostra procoppi ( Redtenbacher, 1908: 411) [ Bostra ]. HT, ♀: Mexico [HNHM—destroyed]. comb. n.
Remarks: The holotype in HNHM has unfortunately been destroyed and the insufficient original description does not serve any features that would allow a confirmed generic placement nor a differentiation from other related species. From the original description it is impossible to distinguish it from the very variable A. remiformis , but the distribution in Mexico makes it rather unlikely to be the same species, although no precise locality was given by Redtenbacher (1908). It may also belong in Lanceobostra gen. n., but since Redtenbacher (1908: 411) did not mention a distinct longitudinal keel or carina on the mesosternum, nor a praeopercular organ on abdominal sternum VII it provisionally seems better placed in Alienobostra .
Distribution: Mexico [HNHM].
