2. Globocalynda colombiae ( Hebard, 1919: 159, pl. 22: 5–6) [ Bostra ]. HT, ♂: Dec. 1908, St. Antonio, 2000 m; Bostra colombiae Hebard , Type [USNM]; PT, ♂: San Antonio, Cauca, Colombia 6500 ft., I.1909; Bostra colombiae Hebard , Paratype [ANSP]. comb. n. ( Figs. 20F View FIGURE 20 , 23G–K View FIGURE 23 )

Remarks: While the morphology of the terminalia places this species in Globocalynda Zompro, 2001 , i.e. the very short and strongly descendant anal segment and large poculum, which almost reaches to the posterior margin of the anal segment, the notably longer median segment that is roughly two-thirds the length of the metanotum, violates the characteristics of that genus. Thus, discovery of the still unknown ♀♀ and eggs is of great interest and importance for verification of the here suggested generic affiliation of G. colombiae .

Distribution: NE-Colombia, Cauca, San Antonio, 2000 m [ANSP, USNM]; Colombia, Risaralda, Planes de San

Rafael, Sanctuary [CEBUC].
