3. Lanceobostra deplanata ( Redtenbacher, 1908: 411) [ Bostra ]. HT, ♀: Cuba, M. Poeyi , 620/88; Bostra deplanata Redtb. [MHNG]. comb. n. ( Fig. 85G View FIGURE 85 )
Remarks: Unfortunately, the unique holotype is strongly mutilated and lacks the terminal three abdominal segments. While the specimen very strongly resembles the type-species of Alienobostra Zompro, 2001 , A. remiformis ( Rehn, 1904) , solely the distinct praeopercular organ places this species in Lanceobostra gen. n. hence it is likely that the type-locality “ Cuba ” stated for deplanata is erroneous but fresh material from definite localities is required for any confirmed decision on the true taxonomic position of deplanata .
