Remarks: The collection of CEIOC contains males and a female from the same locality, which has proven O. pleuracantha Redtenbacher, 1908 to be the opposite sex of Bacteria culmus Bates, 1865 (syn. n.). Examination of the holotype of Bostra arcuata and comparison with the types of O. pleuracantha have shown this to be a halfgrown ♀ nymph of the same species and even from the same locality, hence is also a junior synonym of culmus Bates (syn. n.). The previously unknown eggs are described below.
