Diagnosis. ( Figs 9, 10 View FIGURES 7 – 11 ). Body length: 6.5–12.5 (lectotype 7.0) mm. Palpus black with long white hairs which are shorter than those in mystax. Mystax with white setae, upper margin roundish in frontal view, reaching antennal sockets, distance between mystax and antennal sockets longer than length of scape and pedicel combined ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 11 ). Antenna reddish, sometimes apical half brownish, scape and pedicel with some white setae. Postocular setae numerous, uniformly distributed. Thorax black. Postpronotal lobe, usually ante-, postpronotum and some parts of sclerites reddish. Scutum with short white hairs. Anepisternum anterodorsally and postpronotal lobe with long white hairs ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 7 – 11 ). Dorsocentral setae few in number (less than 5). Scutellum on margin with long capillaceous white setae (about 20 or more). Coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia and tarsus reddish, hind femur dorsally with dark stripe, usually fore- and midfemur with stripe, apical tarsomeres brownish. Tergites black with greyish tomentum, usually posteriorly and laterally reddish, with short white hairs, last tergite posteriorly with long dense hairs. Hypopygium reddish, slightly turned ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7 – 11 ).
