Distribution in Turkey

Ankara, Bayburt, Çorum, Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Erzurum, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Hakkâri, İzmir, Kayseri, Ordu, Samsun, Şırnak, Tokat, Van ( D’Orchymont 1932; Angus 1988; Mart and Erman 2001; İncekara et al. 2005b, 2010; İncekara, Darilmaz, et al. 2009; Hizarcioglu et al. 2010; Polat et al. 2010; Mart et al. 2010b; Darilmaz, Salur, et al. 2010).

Material studied

1 ex. İzmir Province, Coll. Sahlberg ( ZMHU) .

Notes

The species was recorded from İzmir Province under the name of Helophorus dalmatinus Ganglbauer, 1901 by Sahlberg (1913). We re-examined the specimen and found that it is H. daedalus not H. dalmatinus .
