Notes
A Palaearctic species occurring in northern and central Europe, eastwards to the Caucasus and Siberia ( Hansen 1999). Cercyon lugubris Payk. was recorded from the Sultan Mountains (Province of Afyon) by Bodemeyer (1900), but his record is in need of confirmation.
