Stegana (Steganina) maoershanensis sp. nov.

Diagnosis

First flagellomere entirety yellow; dorsal projection of gonopods slightly roundly protruded in lateral view ( Figure 27 ).

Description

Male terminalia: epandrium strongly protruded ventrally ( Figure 21 ). Surstylus with seven prensisetae submedially ( Figure 22 ). Tenth sternite nearly trapeziform distally,

sclerotized and separated basally ( Figures 23 ). Paramere with ca. five sensilla ( Figures 24, 25 ). Aedeagal opening nearly cordiform in ventral view ( Figure 24 ).

Measurements. BL = 3.14 mm in holotype (range in four Ƌ and five ♀ paratypes: 2.80–3.40 mm in Ƌ, 2.90–3.25 mm in ♀), ThL = 1.85 mm (1.83–1.88 mm in Ƌ, 1.60–1.80 mm in ♀), WL = 3.75 mm (3.20–3.70 mm in Ƌ, 3.28–3.65 mm in ♀), WW = 1.50 mm (1.45–1.50 mm in Ƌ, 1.44–1.45 mm in ♀).

Type material

Holotype: Ƌ, China: Maoershan, Guilin , Guangxi, 25°51′ N, 110°27′ E, altitude 700 m, 19 October 2004, HW Chen ( SCAU, No. 120333) . Paratypes: China: 15Ƌ 3♀ , same data as the holotype except for 16–21 October 2004, HL Cao, HW Chen, MF Xu and XL Zhang (three Ƌ two ♀ KIZ, nine Ƌ SCAU, No. 1203334–42, three Ƌ one ♀

SEHU); three Ƌ five ♀, same data as the holotype except for 22–25 September 2006, on tree trunk, JJ Jiang and F Zhao (SCAU, No. 120343–50).
