Figs 34 View FIGURE 34 , 41 View FIGURE 41
Type material. Holotype: Female ( IZCAS), Tham Pha Yot [17°32.956′N, 104°48.761′E, alt. 151 m], 17.03 km north of Thakhek Town, Ban Kouanphavang Khammouane, Laos, 25 November 2012, leg. S. Li (Li-LA 041).
Etymology. The specific name is from Latin arcuatilis (shaped like a bow), in reference to the shape of outgrowth of epigynum; adjective.
Diagnosis. The species can be easily distinguished from all known congeners by narrow median stripe behind ocular area ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 C), bow-shaped outgrowth of epigynum ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 A) and different shape of pore plates ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 B).
Description. Female (holotype): Total length 5.00 (5.13 with clypeus), prosoma 1.35 long, 1.54 wide, opisthosoma 3.65 long, 1.88 wide. Leg I: 44.82 (10.58 + 0.71 + 11.03 + 20.00 + 2.50), leg II: 28.98 (7.37 + 0.65 + 7.37 + 12.18 + 1.41), leg III: 20.97 (5.90 + 0.64 + 5.13 + 8.27 + 1.03), leg IV: 28.73 (8.21 + 0.64 + 6.99 + 11.54 + 1.35); tibia I L/d: 76. Habitus as in Figs 34 View FIGURE 34 C–E. Dorsal shield of prosoma yellowish, with a brown, narrow median stripe behind ocular area; sternum yellowish. Legs yellowish, but whitish on distal parts of tibiae, without darker rings. Opisthosoma yellowish, without spots. Distance PME-PME 0.28, diameter PME 0.08, distance PME-ALE 0.01, AME reduced to small pigment spots. Ocular area elevated. Thoracic furrow absent. Sternum wider than long (0.94/0.88). Epigynum ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 A) brown, with distinct patterns and a bow-shaped outgrowth. Vulva ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 B) with a sclerotized arch anteriorly and a pair of pore plates. Retrolateral trichobothrium of tibia I at 6%; legs with short vertical hairs on metatarsi and tarsi, without spines and curved hairs; tarsus I with more than 30 distinct pseudosegments.
