Amblopusa hokkaidona Ahn & Ashe, 1996 View in CoL
[Japanese name: Hime-nokoba-umi-hanekakushi]
( Fig. 17D View FIGURE 17 ; 26A View FIGURE 26 )
Amblopusa hokkaidona Ahn & Ashe, 1996: 142 View in CoL (original description); Zerche, 1998: 112 (phylogenetic analysis).
Material examined. Japan: Hokkaidô: 1 male, 1 unsexed, Ishikari-shi, Atsuta-ku, Gokibiru, 22. III. 2020, K. Mitsuhashi (cYT) .
Diagnosis. It is can be easily distinguished from other species of this genus by its very small body (about 1.5 mm).
Remarks. We examined two specimens, one male among them. They were teneral, yet corresponded to the description provided by Ahn & Ashe (1995). Consequently, we identified them as this species, however, we encountered challenges in illustrating their mouthparts and genitalia due to poor specimen condition.
Distribution. Japan: Hokkaidô.
