Chlaenius (Achlaenius) micans ( Fabricius, 1792) View in CoL

Redtenbacher (1867) lists Chlaenius vulneratus Dejean 1931 View in CoL as one of his specimens from Hong Kong. Andrewes (1924), however examined Redtenbachers specimen and identified it a micans View in CoL , the type of which Andrewes had examined is in the Paris Museum. Kirschenhofer (2003a) does not list this species for Hong Kong and gives its distribution as much further north.

Chlaenius (Achlaenius) sericimicans Chaudoir, 1876 View in CoL

Chaudoir, (1876b) described this from a pair of specimens collected from Hong Kong. Kirschenhofer (1997, 2003a & 2005) lists this species for Hong Kong.
