Subgenus Styphlomerus Chaudoir, 1875 View in CoL
Styphlomerus (Styphlomerus) fusciceps Schmidt-Göbel, 1846 View in CoL
Bates (1892), Kirschenhofer (1996), Hua (2002) and Hrdlièka (2003) list this species as occurring in Hong Kong. Andrewes and Scott (1924) listed a junior synonym S. bicolor ( Boheman, 1858) View in CoL as occurring in Macao, though Boheman never recorded it from Hong Kong. Chaudoir (1876a) listed S. dichrous ( Gemminger & Harold 1868) View in CoL another junior synonym of this species for Hong Kong.
Styphlomerus (Styphlomerus) korgei ( Jedlièka, 1964) View in CoL
Dmitry Fedorenko commented (pers. comm. 2014) "According to the original description, this species seems to be a Brachinus View in CoL , not Styphlomerus View in CoL ". Listed as an endemic Hong Kong species by Kirschenhofer (1996), Hua (2002) and Hrdlièka (2003).
