Described in detail in Chamberlin’s 1912 revision, this species was found in Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama. Yellow-brown to dark brown, head and posterior end often darker; 5–6.5 mm long. Antennae with 28 (to 31) articles, coxosternal teeth 3+3, coxal pores 2, 3, 3, 3 ( Chamberlin 1912). Types are in the MCZ.
