The description was based on one female from Edinburg, Texas, lacking the posterior legs. This specimen was located in the general collection of the USNM and has been labelled as the holotype. Reddish brown, anterior and posterior ends yellow, 5.8 mm long. Twenty-five antennal articles, coxosternal teeth 2+2, coxal pores 3, 3, 3, 2.
