Widely distributed west-east in the Western and Eastern Cape provinces. I can add the following records, including the first from the Swartberg range: 23/ix/2008 Eastern Cape, Garden Route National Park, Storm River Mouth, afrotemperate forest, second stream on E side of entrance— 1 ♂, 1♀; 1/i/2014 Western Cape, Groote Swartberg, permanent stream below Kangoberg on Gamkaskloof road ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 C)— 1 ♂. The Swartberg specimen is more strongly sculptured than specimens I have seen from elsewhere in the range, as well as having a slightly more robust apical tooth on the main piece of the aedeagus.
