Described from Assegaibos, in an upper tributary of the Great Berg system in the Western Cape, and apparently not collected since. I can add the following record, from the same general area close to Wellington: 22/ix/2010 Western Cape, small shaded stream along R301 road below Obiekwaberg, below Bain’s Kloof Pass above Wellington— 1 ♂, 2 ♀.
