Diagnosis

Gastral membranes red to yellowish red; fore wing with basal one-third strongly infuscate and with small speculum (as in rubescens (figure 60)); male flagellum (figure 48) narrow with long setae (compared to similar rubescens (figure 36)).

Male (length of body= 0.6 mm)

Colour. Scape yellowish white, pedicel and flagellum pale brown. Frons, vertex and occiput dark brown with metallic tinges. Mesosoma dark with golden tinges. Coxae and femora dark and metallic; tibiae and tarsi white. Fore wing with basal one-third strongly infuscate, remaining two-thirds hyaline. Gaster dark with goldenpurple tinges, membranes light red to yellowish red.

Head. Antenna as in figure 48. HE/MS/MO: 2.5/1.0/1.2. Frons with weak reticulation, meshes transverse. Vertex with weak reticulation. Posterior ocelli situated at occipital margin; POL/OOL: 2.3/1.0. Occipital margin rounded; transverse and median longitudinal grooves distinct. WH/WT =1.0.

Mesosoma . Mesoscutum flattened, 0.6× as long as wide, with weak and engraved reticulation, anterior one-quarter with isodiametric meshes, posterior threequarters with elongate meshes, with one pair of setae situated close to anterior margin. Scutellum flattened, 0.6× as long as wide, with weak and engraved reticulation, meshes elongate, lateral and posterior margins smooth and shiny; scutellar setae situated about in the middle, ratio distances to anterior margin of scutellum/ posterior margin of scutellum=1.6. Axilla advanced its entire length in front of scuto-scutellar sulcus. TPS strongly curved. Fore wing speculum small and closed below; LW/LM: 2.2/1.0; PM/ST =0.2. Propodeum smooth and shiny; propodeal callus with two setae.

Metasoma. Gastral tergites smooth and shiny; MM/LG=1.0.
