Pomacea maculata Perry, 1810 View in CoL . New type material — neotype ( Hayes et al. 2012: 730): NHMUK 1854.12.4.313.

Remarks. Hayes et al. (2012: 730) designated the same specimen as the neotype of gigas Spix , insularum d’Orbigny and maculata Perry , thereby rendering them objective synonyms.
